cyprichromis with petros and trophs?

I was wondering if cyps can be kept with petros and trophs without problems. I'd worry about fin nipping and the high energy of both fish causing problems with the cyps.

and i'm looking to the paracyps or the mirco cyps. not the jumbos.

I have a breeding colony of Cyp. Kekese with Petro. Fasciolatus Ikola and Troph. sp. Red Lunangwa South. No fin nipping that I can see and the Cyps breed.

Paracyps are rock dwellers from my understanding, so I imagine with enough rock cover they would do well. No experiance with petros or trophs though...

So far im going to be working with gobies, multies cats, polli trophs, chimba petros (soon to get them). 6ft will look kinda bare even with these guys roaming around I think.

What about a Distichodus sexfasciatus? Would be a cool tang characin and show piece (I have secretly always wanted one, lol)

They do, but get HUGE!!!! There are a few others as well that are closely related and I see them locally on occasion

Yup, that's why I said each situation is unique. Just wanted to let you know that it has been attempted successfully in case you wanted to go ahead with it.

With the petros, make sure you get a decent size colony to mitigate aggression and colony collapse.

Yes sir. If I decide against the cyps il either get another group of petros or trophs. Something that people don't have here :P
