Pretty much just like all the other calvus and comps out there. They like meaty foods, dont do good on veggies alone. Give them brine, krill and other things. May be a lil skiddish if really young in a new crowded tank. As older and big they will eat fry and may take down small tankmates.

Great list!.There is one other thing that was left off.... the grow incredibly slowly.
      Scarecrow : I haven't got a brain... only straw.
Dorothy : How can you talk if you haven't got a brain?
Scarecrow: I don't know... But some people without brains do an awful lot of talking... don't they?
Dorothy: Yes, I guess you're right.

Thanks so much for the help yall. Do yall think that they would be okay with Rope Fish, Senegal Bichir, African Spotted Leaf Fish and African Butterfly? Also, does these need to be in groups, pairs, or can they be happy living single?

Personally i wouldn't mix all of those together. The species u listed come from a very different water and area. The specifics of the waters are much different as well. If possible id try and keep the tangs with other fish from the same lake

I don't see a huge problem with the list. Seems easy enough. If I can keep Bolivian Rams with tropheus and cyps, then this can be achieved. With a list like that, I would assume that no breeding would be attempted. Only thing I would worry about is the aggression and the lack there of.

I have 6 yellow fin calvus with 6 Ndobhoi's (Tanganykan rock dweller) in a 36 gallon bowfront.

              I like this combination.

              Yes they grow very slow.

Thanks for all the info yall. I was able to find 3 African Spotted Leaf Fish and 2 Black Calvus "Zebra" yesterday. They seem to be doing fine so far. The Leaf fish dont seem to really care about the calvus as they just swim away when one comes near them, and the bichir has inspected both of them with no interest.
