Maybe time to switch things around

For a few years I've had a Pollenii in a 55 with 2 large syno cats. Lately the polenii has been chasing them around. I guess itrs time for a tank switch 8O

it looks like a black oscar with white spots sometimes a yellow color spots... really cool looking

this is her. Shes about 10" She actually my favorite fish. I'm getting ready to move her to the re-sealed 75 gallon I now have

no! I didnt figure 55 was big enough. But maybe 75 would be. I would love a male polleni but all the ones I've seen are really aggressive. I'm sure she could hold her own, maybe......

If you find a male get yourself a plexiglass partition (get one at Home depot) and install it in your 75..  this way they can look at each other and warm up to each other for a while but the male will not have a chance to chase her down and potentially destroy her.  

Just a suggestion.

Those are beautiful fish.  I didn't know that they were so agressive.  I have always seen them at Fish Gallery but they are quite expensive.

She has never been aggressive until just reciently. That catfish must have really made her mad. The males I've seen will made a huge display if you stand in front of of the tank.
