  • 75 gallon Hap Moori and friends video

    Hey boxers,

Got my 75 gallon all set up finally - video quality is somewhat lacking, but you'll get the idea: http://youtu.be/p7fd1JU1_H0

    Current stocking:
    6 Congo tetras
4 Hap Moori (Blue Dolphin Cichlids)
    3 Emerald Green Cories
    1 Bristlenose Pleco

    Filtration:
Wet/dry trickle filter with Mag 7 return pump
    Established HOB filter for cycling

Also, I'm currently running two t5 6700k strip lights, but I'm thinking of picking up a marineland double bright led strip. Do you all think the 36"-48" model would be okay, or should I pony up the dough for the 48"-60"?

    Thanks for watching everyone!

Clearer video from the side of the tank and a nice view of the Blue Dolphins :) (Watch in HD and please ignore the scratches!)

Haha. Scratches happen when you buy a used tank. Lol. Thanks Coop - I was temporarily housing these fish in a 29 with white marine-grade sand, and I liked the look, but I wanted to try something different for the big tank. Thanks again!

What are the facts? Again and again and again--what are the facts? Shun wishful thinking, ignore devine revelation, forget what "the stars foretell", avoid opinion, care not what the neighbors think, never mind the unguessable "verdict of history"--what are the facts, and to how many decimal places? You pilot always into an unknown future; facts are your only clue.

Mark, thanks! I'm loving the blue dolphins too. They are very peaceful so far and like to dig around in the sand.

Barrettsline, thanks! I'm a Congo tetra fan - they're gentle giants (as far as tetras go) but they've got teeth just in case s&$t goes down. Plus, they like to pick up the algae wafers I offer to the Pleco and zoom around the tank with them. Not to mention, they love eating all the love bugs which are swarming here in SE Texas.

Oh, and I guess the wife was right...again. Lol. Time to buy more rock!
