Dose your established tank have gravel? If so fill a panty hose up with gravel from established tank and set it in the new tank .This should help transfer some beneficial bacteria. {I learned this from a member on here}Last edited by HERM; 08-19-2012, 10:29 PM.Don't tell fish stories where people know you; but particularly, don't tell them where they know the fish.
