    I picked up my little Lamprologus meleagris-stappersi from Bee yesterday. Took these pictures this morning here is hoping they do better than the first fish I had in this tank LOL.

    These are my first African Cichlids :)

    Tank looks nice. Good scape, the fish have good color and look sweet. Nice set up. Have fun with these lil guys.
    5 gal baby hecqui grow out
    7 gal baby compressicps
    14 bio cube fry tank, multies-orange leleupi-telmatochromis
    4 tank rack- 30 cubes. Shellies, mulities-brevis-telmatochromis-caudopunctaus
    100 gal mixed community tank
    125 Tropheus black bembas

    Tanngankia cichlids what else

      Very cool, definitely let us know how those Red claw work out in the tank. I know I had done some research that yielded the Macro species that is found in the lake itself and I imagine these would be better behaved. I think I might just try them in my tang tank next time you have a few extra....

            very cool... where did you get those shells???? they look like the same ones i've been collecting around here.
            my fish house:
            2.5g- ramshorn hatchery
            6g eclipse- yellow shrimp, chili rasboras, yellow apple snails
            29g- geo grow-out, angels, 12"fire eel, dwarf frog, apple snails
            45g- jade sleeper gobies, native killifish, feeder endlers

            75g-
            2 oscars, parrot, silver dollars, albino channel cat, syno euptera, bichir, baby jaguar, convicts, yabby
            125g- fahaka puffer, rainbow shark
            and about a dozen bettas....

                Shells most likely came from specs. Thats where i get all mines from.

                  i've been collecting them from the bayous and creeks around my neighborhood, i know nick lives closeby... i thought they might be the same.

                    Those shells are escargot shells if I'm not wrong.

                        So far the macros hang out under the rocks and clean up scraps of food. The fish and shrimp leave each other alone.

                        I have a ton of juvenile macros if you want some come get em lol I have to many...
