Buy Kiko's wet dry. That's my go to filter. Perfect for high bio load.

+1 It's cheap and already cycled! You could even grab the canisters he has too! Then you could put the fish in the tank instead of waiting.

hmmm go idea one more question is it really that big a difference between wild caught and f1 or f2 I mean I know what the difference is but why are some many people that concerned just curious

Having kept WC, and F1/F2/TR, I'd say go F1/F2 for less $$ and headaches. Only get a WC colony if it's been around locally for a while. Getting a colony from the lake is a different beast to deal with when something goes bad and is similar to flushing wads of cash down the toilet.

On a physical appearance level, F1/F2/TR have better finnage and look uniform compared to WC.

Not much of a difference besides what Sunny said about flushing wads of cash. If F1, F2 and TR were raised in a fairly large tank with consistent feeding, they could put on some size to match a WC troph. Some people even label F1,F2,TR as WC once they are big enough to make more $$. I would just buy F1 or F2 to save yourself some time and money.

Yeah, my 14 - 16 month old F1 Moliros are pushing 3.5" - 4". Should be pretty much maxed out in a couple of years.
