Just upgrade the tank slowly without her at home. She probably won't notice lol upgrade to a 5ft tank then 6ft. Be sneeky about it lol

I find it easier to supprise,then apologize to her with a new bigger tank then ask for permission.

I started off with a 125g. Then a couple of months later I got a 230g. I told her it's for the baby fish.

We've been married along time. She knows every trick, I've done to get big tanks into the house. Even if I were to just get it, the arguing won't stop. I actually gave away my last 8ft tank some years ago to the original owner of HAW. It's the 8ft tank that had been on display in the back- it was a shallow 210 only 20 inches high. Great planted tank.

I just need to keep things that are gonna do ok as adults in the 75 gallon. I may go back to Betta macrostomas and unimaculats or Altos.

I've bred them. I just didn't put effort into keeping the fry alive. I didn't have much time. It was around whe my son was born.
