    Hi,

I am new with cichlids but i am breeding discus, and i want to start to breed cichlid. I have 22 tank 33 US gallons and one tank 105 gallons.
Now i want to know how many fish i can put in 33 gallons if the size of fish is 3.5-4 inches

Discus in the 33? 2-3 with heavy water changes, and good filtration. Breeding may be difficult in a smaller tank thought.

If i were trying to breed in a 33 gallon tank.......I would put one male and three or four females .

33 gallon tank... the 4x1x1 footprint? That's a long tank for for just 1 male. Depending on the fish, I would do 2 males and 5-6 females that way males will play with each other and leave females in one piece. I've gone malawis and vics in 20longs with 1 male and 3-4 females and it worked great, but if it's the 4ft 33g tank, I would go with a second male. My 2c.
