Well I Have a credit on petsmart from when I bought a snake so I buy a emperor 400 cause o can put sponge
And with the sponge blue pads and bio wheel would be better than the ac110 that is pure mech I want to put in biological for stock purpose

Filtration as now is

1-ac 110
1-emperor 400
1-fx5
1-2217

Hope would be ready for trophs and petros

If it was me, I'd sell the emperor and eheim and get a good wet dry lol

Mogan I almost got the Aqueon but I tweak. All my HOB
And that one give more so I went with the bio wheels is a good system for bacteria build up


I know a wet and dry is better but I am going to make it work with some more details like a internal filter with purigen and matrix

Sounds like it's good enough for trophs and petros as is. Wouldn't hurt to add more filtration! If it were me though, I'd drop the emp400 and ac110 for a wet dry. Also would've went with another ac110 instead of the emp400. I don't know why, it's just something about aqua clear that just swept me away.
