How often do you feed the petros shrimp?

I will be doing it daily now that all the trophs are out of the tank, plus 4 times with NLS Thera+A via feeders, plus flake whenever I'm home.

Cool. Your fish should all breed like crazy.

          Yeah.

If I were you I'd refrain from giving out doomsday scenarios unless you have truly tried to find out firsthand what kind of food these garbage disposals can handle.

Healthy fish have healthy digestive systems. I'm sure they can eat sandwich meat and anything else. So since you say I should experience first hand, do you think the OP should listen to take heed to your power feeding methods, or start off slow like I suggested?

What you suggested is a good way for fish who have never eaten get used to the concept of eating. Petros who are in decent condition and already eating don't need a "grace period" IME. They are opportunistic eaters so they'll just tear it up.

Yeah I understand that. I know someone who feeds their SA/CA fish anything that's for dinner that night. Shrimp, scallops, bologna, raw beef, anything and his fish are healthy.

I feed my babies Green Supreme pellets, HBH Veggie Flakes and seaweed. But I also grow / grew (a bit down at the moment) lots of algae.
I use to feed but no longer are: NLS and Kensflakes.

Nuttin' wrong with a little aquatic meat for petros and I do still chop up a gulf shrimp for a treat once a week or so. Only negative I got is it dirties and stinks the water up more, IMO. My humble opinion would also be that you need to be on the filtration cleaning and water changes pretty good to do it regular.

I fed them mysis yesterday. The two smallest ones were on the thin side, but have started thickening up with cyclopeeze and my increased feelings. These guys are awesome. I would have bloated out tropheus by now. I'm really appreciating the comments on the board from all of you. I really feel like a beginner again with these fish (even after raiding just about everything else our there).
