Also, made my first tank mistake learning the difference between mystery snails and true apple snails. I picked up a nice size Apple snail from the Petco on 290 because I thought they looked neat munching on the on the cucumbers hanging in the tank. Despite having a nice bunch of greens anchored in the tank, it completely steamrolled the Val in the tank. It also gets in fights with the black mystery snail in the tank. It's even parts sad and funny to see two snails trying to flip each other over when they are the only things in a 55gal. I think it's going back to the store.

I just traded the last of my adults I could let go but I do have lots of babies that can be traded for in a few months. I don't post stuff for sale or trade anymore so I will let you guys know when they are big enough :)

Indeed, Nick is the man for local Macro's. I have been trying to get to his area for awhile and get some as well....
