Speckling is a couple year process from what I've read.

Awsome fish. It takes a while. In 3 years he'll have speckles all over. It really takes that long.

Awesome fish Tim! I was raising some awhile back, took a couple of years for male to mature and really show his colors. I lost them in the aftermath of Hurricane Ike...would be interested in fry whenever you have some available!
