  • tropheus eating pleco

Okay so I had some 1-2" brittnose plecos in my troph tanks and had about 5 or so and the first day I noticed a carcass that had little meat left on it and bones. Was it because I didn't feed the tropheus enough? or has this every occured to anyone else? This happened like 2 months ago and the other 4 are smart enough to hide under the rocks and have doubled in size.

Not sure about plecos that size.

My ABN breeds all the time and my petro and tropheus do eat the pleco frys.
I ate my fish that died.

Victor, as little as you feed those trophs I'm surprised they haven't eaten each other lol.

That's crazy. I never had a troph attack any of my plecos. Good thing you got that feeder. Lol
