Would it be safe to keep a colony of tropheus with a trio 1m 2f of peacocks. I know that their diets vary but I think nls would be good for both. I know that peacocks are pretty calm but might be freaked out by all the tropheus swimming would putting peacocks affect the breeding of the tropheus or the peacocks?

Keeping Tropeus and Peacocks?

Everything eats NLS really, so diet isn't relevant. I could see a few trophs in a full peacock tank, but I just don't see a couple peacocks doing well with an established tropheus colony unless they were raises together as fry. Those trophs would probably end up taking out the peacocks at some point when they're in breeding mode

I'm with ek on this. Keep them, but breeding will be compromised.

Re: Keeping Tropeus and Peacocks?
I have kept everything with my Trophs . I currently have one tank with a Lemon Jake pair that breed all the time . I also have a pretty big German Red female peacock in that same tank . No problem at all . Peacocks can hold their own when it's feeding time . The only fish that didn't do well with my Trophs was a Synodontis catfish . I had added him to a tank with larger Trophs and he almost starved to death . Trophs don't let to much food hit the bottom of the tank and when it does its gone in mere seconds .
