Just a small update. Added about 20 lbs of rock yesterday to create a bigger rock pile for Cyps once I find some that I like.
I bought a new Tanganyikan Goby a few days ago, eretmodus cyanostictus - My favorite fish so far! He is a greedy little eater, even the first day he was outcompeting my rainbows for food...
Changed my lighting - Running a 10k + Colormax T5NO now instead of 2 aquablues HOs for less light. Setup the R2 moonlights for a splash of blue. I like this natural look better though.
Current stocking (future stocking)
4 - Yellow Calvus (2-3)
5 - Bleheri Rainbows (moved 3 males, replacing the rest with Cyps)
7 - Syn Petricola
1 - Tanganyikan Clown Goby
1 - J. transcriptus
1 - J. Regani Kipili
6 (that I can count) multi shelldwellers.
I'm hoping the Regani and transcriptus start hybridizing. Probably will get a couple more of each and hope they cross-pair. I'm thinking the hybrid will look pretty damn cool. Probably a 4 inch creamed color checkerboard julie with blue fins!
If anyone is interested in Bleheri Rainbows, let me know. I have 4 Male, 4 Female. They would be great in a planted tank.
Now that I'm almost done with this one, I want to setup another tank!!
Thanks!
