Sometimes the fish are left with no other option than to commit suicide.

I've noticed that happening with unhappy fish.

Guess they were in a deep depression lol. I have a mean male that chases every fish in the tank to corners.

Fact of the matter is, if you choose to go rimless you can expect to have a jumper every now and then. I went months without it happening and it just happened last week for the first time in a while.

People got a bunch of unhappy fish?

I prefer topless, but have recently put a glass top on my 30g in an attempt to reduce the crazy evaporation I'm experiencing.

Most of my past tanks have been topless, I don't remember the last time I lost fish to suicide.
