I just bought an all purpose portable pump at lowes for I believe $30-$40, and it's 200gph. I bought extra 1/2" inner diameter hose for a few bucks and some other fittings to attach the hose to the pump. All together I think I spent $50. I am going to try it out tomorrow. I'm not so much concerned with the drainage because I have a hose with PVC pipe on the one end I use to vacuum the sand and trash out of tank. The other end I hang out window. I just siphon by mouth to get it started and that's it. I want to use the pump to put the water back in the tank after I mix the chemicals in it. See how it works tomorrow...
