Donovan, Nice tank and fish. How old are those? I have a cave full of wiggling eggs now. Should I move the cave to the grow tank now or just leave them in with the parents? Thanks.

More details ! Are they in their own tank ? Are these first time parents ? Personally id let the eggs grow a lil bit to where they are somewhat free swimming then move them too a small grow out. But the femal needs to care for the fry till they are big enough to leave the cave, best to let her be for now. If u pull them to early all the time she'll get mad and may not produce often.

Yes, they are in their own tank. No, not first time parents. Female is a hood rat. It seem they spawn every 3-4 weeks, but this time they have their own tank. I will leave them in for now to see what happen.

How bigs the tank. Can ya post some pics ? Be sure and provide areas for both fish, while the female's raising eggs and caring, a separate area for the male so she can be mommy.
