  • Can you name some colorful tropheus?

    Scarecrow : I haven't got a brain... only straw.
Dorothy : How can you talk if you haven't got a brain?
Scarecrow: I don't know... But some people without brains do an awful lot of talking... don't they?
Dorothy: Yes, I guess you're right.

Do you mean ones that have many colors like rainbows or have only a couple of contrasting colors?

      Personally:

      1) ilangi
      2) red rainbow (any collection point)
      3) yellow rainbow (any collection point)
      4) moops aka pineapples
      5) moori namansi

In general, the most colorful ones are collected from Zambia. I would stay away from blue rainbow and lafubus.

Their pictures don't really capture how they look in real life with the exception of the "true" lufubus.
I ate my fish that died.

Take it however you want. I guess . . . what would a new person (to trophs) like more?

Also keep in mind that lighting plays a huge role in perceived colorful-ness.

True , and so does the tank background color and rocks in the tank as well. Dark color fish in a dark tank are going to apear light they have no colors
