  • Lake Malawi Tank - looking a creative mind

I have a 215 gallon tank with Lake Malawi haps. I want to redo it so that it replicates their native habitat (not sure if that is the correct word). Lol. I am trying to find someone that is creative and willing to help me do it. I am willing to pay someone. I thought of contacting someone at like The Fish Gallery but I thought I would start here first. Anyone interested in helping??? Thank you.

I love seeing biotope style tanks, especially with some deep water haps. I am more then happy to talk over some ideas and guide you on what might be the best route. Try searching Malawi biotope and see what tanks speak to your style

Looks like the lake is mostly larger boulders. It's almost like a nice grey 3d background and maybe just a big rock pile up against the background into the foreground would be nice

        Some nice examples

        Even something like this

Your big haps are more open water fish, not like the rock dwelling mbuna. They don't need (and eventually too big) for caves and what not
