100 Tang community upgrade !

Ok so iv been wanting to get a bigger tank for my Tanganyika community tank. And yesterday we moved it and delivered it to my apt.
Special thanks to a few friends who helped in the moving

So the tank is a 210, 72-24-30.
Im going to put a lil work into this thing before setup is completed, stands getting painted black. The laft side will be blue as well as the back so itll have a double background. Itll have pool filter sand and i think im gona go with some big pieces of lace rock in this one. Ill be making a nice canopy for it too. Not sure on the lighting yet, still pondering that one. Gona filter it with a pair of Fx5s, and a 36 watt UV light. Its a work in progress right now but ill share as i move forward.

Its a glass tank. The in the pic with blue back. The stocked tank is the 100 that im upgrading

And to think after setup, ill be having some room for new fishies too! And an empty 100 for something else too. Can one really have too many tanks ? Naw

Last night i went out bought my paint for the stand, and i sprayed the left side blue and put a touch up coat on the back. Will post pics when i get home. Wana try n get this thing up and running in about a month.

Thanks man, but thats the canopy from the 125. I just set it there too see how itd look. I still gota build the canopy for this tank. Its 24 in width not 18. But itll all come together nicely. Thanks for helping in the move Luis

Working on this project this weekend. The left side of the left tank got painted already. Now im in the process of beefing up the stand a bit, and adding some shelves. Also removed the trim on the stand, going to redo that so that it covers the tank trim totally and has a nice look to the whole setup.

Very nice tank and love background color. what light are you have in the tank? I have a tank a little bigger but the light it not bright enough to show the background (DIY light I need redo next week). Donovan, you are lucky man you have a lot great friend help you out in hobby ( only me and my 6 year old daughter in here) . I wish one day I move to Houston Area. Can not wait see your tank complete.
