Thanks luxtralarge. It didn't take that long because I didn't really organize them. I just started throwing pieces in there :)

I hope you enjoy those yellow labs... if you want more, you are going to have to help me get the rock out of the tank!

Wed next week i'll probably get 5 more depending on the condition of my tank. My wife will be the one helping you with the rock and i'll be the one catching the fishes :)

so i've been crazy bz the last few days and didn't get to check the box, just saw this update, i really like the way the lavarock looks, i thought nothing would look better than the holeyrock, but i was completely wrong, beautiful, hands down better set up compared to the holeyrock

one more thing, i have seen that tank at the ada store, its definitely nice, but i think your lava rock layout and the shapes of the rocks are much better looking imo

So I've been adding various fish to this tank over the last couple months and I don't think I'm too satisfied with my fish selection. I have more of a mix of cichlids than I started with. I added some, and got rid of others. A few friends came over recently to get a half dozen or so fish - that required me taking the rock out. So I rearranged the rock and took a couple pictures. This may be it for me with Malawi cichlids for a while. I'm thinking about switching it back to Tanganyikans. (No,not tropheus).

Current tank inhabitants:
M. auratus (m)
M. chipokae (m)
L. caerulus
S. fryeri
Pseudotropheus zebra
Petrotilapia "Chitimba Bay"
Haplochromis obliquidens
Assorted rainbowfish
...etc...

The tank and most of the fish have been sold/given away. I still have the rocks. I'm looking for somwhere to put them...
