So i did a complete remodel on this tank. Picked up a cut off peice of a rock background and switched out the black sand for some regular pfs, and got a few rocks to match the.background and added the lil grass for some color and pop. Before and after pics. Tank is now home to two fry, tiny two week old compressicps and just hatched Caudopunctatus.

That's awesome. Where'd you get the background?

Austy, its a two sided backing from a cut 3d rock background. So i cut it to fit on two sides and then scaped the tank with smaller stones. Its much better looking in person.

Was the background leftovers from another project? If not did you buy it local or online? But more important the look is great!

And yes Cm, the background was a leftover peice cut from another project. I bought it cheap cause it wasn't a right size for ne tank but i knew i could make it work. The tricky part was getting the corner to fit together where they meet.
