  • Tropheus question

I'm picking up 16/17 WC Blue Rainbows, as well as 30ish fry and juvies. I was planning on putting the adults in my flatback corner 70 and the youngens in my 55, but after thinking on it, I believe my 55 actually has a larger footprint. So here's my question, which group would you put in which tank? I know adults are usually in at least 100 gallon tanks, but I've seen plenty of people keep trophs in a 55 with no issues. I've attached some pics of each tank. Thanks in advance.

May depend on how many males you have in the wc group small take and a hand full of males may cause a problem

Put the adults in the 55 with a ton of flow and filtration and grow the fry separately. Then when they're about 2" combine both groups in a 125.

Much appreciated. I think I will do the adults in the 55. I know Andrew's lufubu breed like crazy in his 55 and he has around double what I'll have. Right now I have 800 gph turnover on the 55, but might add a canister as well
