Their semi aggressive. Males can be a lil vicious if a female has eggs. Give them a few large shells to call home, away from your other shellies. Be careful if u cant find then as they may dig and hide underneath rocks. So make sure structures are stable. Wish could sayi have fry but not yet! Defiantly a cool tang on the list you have. If theres any other tangs ur curious about let me know. Tanganyika fish are my specialty and all i keep.

I just made the move into Tangs a couple of months ago. I mostly keep haps/peacocks. How will these guys do with calvus?

So long as the calvus arent full grown adults and the punks arent tiny fry they will be ok together. Id never worry about a calvus in battle, they're tanks!

I plan on keeping them with calvus but the calvus I am getting will probably only be about an 1 inch so a long time before they are full grown.

that should work out well. Calvus are specialized fry eaters so something to consider. Sumbu dwarfs are one variant that is a smaller shell dweller
