This one is just over an inch long.

This one too, is about an inch long.

This is the baby again, sticking close to his rock.

I promised her the first batch of fry, once their numbers where sufficient for making up a small colony. Those are about 15 fry from the colony I picked up from Fishcrazy out in beaumont last summer. She has them by themselves in a Oceanic 58.

Loretta!!  They are so cute!!  I especially like the little guy in the 4th picture in the latest group of pics, all being tough with his dorsal fin standing straight up (yet still swimming behind the other one)!  

I bet you are having a blast with them!

oh i am traci....they were so cute today.....they discovered the current in the corner of the tank and they were hanging out there and swimming in the current and doing flips.....they were making me laugh so hard i couldn't hardly stand it.....they are amazing...i love these little guys soooooo much.....
they are the best thing ever.......
i saw them in the corner and they were also seeing their reflections and making so many funny moves to the mirrored images.....finning up like they were so big and bad......i just can't get enough of these little amazing life forms.....

I know!!  I don't know what I did before Trophs...seriously.

Have you put one of those Nano's in with them yet?  Our Nkonde do that 'ride the current' thing too...it's so cute.  And when they get their Mysis Shrimp treats, I hold the frozen cube in front of the nano stream of water so the shrimp gets blown all over the tank, and they go NUTS!  Swimming through my hands...like puppies jumping up on you because they are so happy you 'belong to them'.   Like, pet me! love me!  

I started a new job today and it's a remote gig, so I work from my house.  Now I get to be with the fish ALL DAY!!  But the crazy thing is that I think I spoke more today (to the fish) than I ever did in an office (to people)!   8O

yes i have the little nano in there with them.....i'll have to get them some mysis shrimies.....they will probably really go crazy with those.....just getting them here sunday i am still getting to know them and them to know me......but we are developing quickly i think.....

they are my little kids.....

Be careful not to over do the mysis.

With the nano even my adults like to swim against the current! Its like a school of dolphins!
