ok status on big tank,  water full, same temp, babys 2 are ok, and 2 still have a tiny gangsta lean.  gonna wait a few minutes to test the water.

PRIME, are you doing a water change and cleaning the filters at the same time??? are you rinsing them with old tank water??
if your not you need to start, if not youll kill all the good bacteria on the pads.

Consider setting up  a fry tank somewhere down the road, keep a littel 10 or 20 set up for new arrivals or fry. I am using that 6 gallon book case aquarium I had for sale here a few months ago, for fry or quarrantine.

I have maybe 30 baby Kenyi in it now.

keith....prime is just what it says...it's labeled "Prime" on the bottle...it's a water conditioner to remove chlorine and gunk from the tap to the tank....and CF uses Prime first ....if that's not available he'll use the  amquel +

FL is correct, Prime is a water conditioner, similar to amquel +

does like petsmart have prime or where u get it?  i have some amquel plus i used this time.  i have been usin the aquasafe ilke i said but i was usin the rest of it before i opend the amquel plus.  but i did the amquel plus this time cause it says removes nitrates, nitrite, ammonia, chlorine, and chloramines.  figured that was the best.

ok.  i gotta switch to that stuff.  i was readin this amquel plus.  it doesnt really say on the bottle for water changes.  it seems to me its more of a booboo helper.  if you screw up and let the parameters go to **** it will help u out?  i dont know.  so when yall water change, yall use prime and that only?  it does it all.. how do i know i have enough aquarium salt or not for them?  like when i do  a siphon it shoud get some out, but how do i know if enough or too much?

Order it or ask around, it is available at most of our LFS, but not the chain stores.

you can cause them to spike when you mess with the substrate too much.....adding too many fishies .......
