the water seems to circulate alot better than netting material for some reason....so no you wouldn't have as much trouble.....

From the DIY directions, it says you can just tilt it to let the gunk run through the holes, but I've had 19 fry in mine, eating twice a day, since last week and haven't had any gunk settle in it at all, and I know these fish have to be making poop....

Amquel+plus and NovaAqua+plus are my first choice by a long shot.....Prime second. Have been using the two shortly after I started keeping fish about 14yrs ago and never looked back.

With the DIY floating nursery....RonR turned me onto it quite a while back when I first got my Mobas from him....I keep mine somewhat in front of one of my returns/outputs and it keeps the circulation in the tub great! I use the larger tubs though...think it was like 2L.

well anything that turns you on ek i gotta be interested. lol.  i made a tub yestereday.  man is sweet.  i used to floats though, one on each end of the tank for better stability.  i dont anchor it to the side. i let it go.  im makin another one now. lol.  the amquel + plus i have but i though its for more of booobooos than waterchanges but i guess it wouldnt matter.
