I've been told that Frontosa will grow 6" the first year, but my group is growing so slow. I'm reluctant to "power feed" them, because I lost one due to bloat (I thought too much protein food?).

are u sure it was bloat? when ever i had fronts i always powerfeed them frozen foods and shrimp and they always grew quick til they 4-4.5 in under a year

I am truly believe in water quality and feeding schedule . Also increase the amount of food monthly. I mainly defend on my Auto feeder though.

Water changes plus feeding are the key to success. The more water you change the faster your fish will grow. With Petros it's easy to build up massive water changes over time and once you have them on that schedule keep it up! Fish are progressing very well Vinny. Great job as always.
