  • Stocking question

    I recently setup a 5g fluval spec -v for a Pair of N. Brichardi.
I took out the overflow plate to allow for the full space fo the tank to be used.
    Filtration is a Sun Sun 603-b Canister - 100ml purigen - 5w uv.
My question realy is would it be possible to add a small like 1.5-2" white calvus to mix as well or wouldbe killed in such a small space. I have never kept N. Brichari, but I have heard stories of them backing down frontosa when breeding. So Suggestions are more than welcome.

Don't do it!! Brichardi are real nasty when it comes to spawning. It will be interesting to see how a pair fares in that size tank, I've never seen them kept in a tank that small

Brichardi is very very aggressive. I'm curious to see how they will do in that small tank too. They are about 3-3.5" at mature size. And yes, they will kill anything you put in there with them when breeding.

That's what I figured. I've done more with less before.
Ill start a journal with pics when it's setup.
