    I believe Multi is the smallest shellie or smallest known cichlid in the world. The male max out at 1.5"-2".
    I have talked to Donovan. He said the smallest are about 1 1/4 of an inch. I forgot the name but I don't know much about Africans.

      You might be right. There are unknown cichlid out there in the world.

            Probably not. Mbuna will eventually kill them due to huge size difference.

              I they that much smaller? Never mess with them I like Mbunas colors and the are very easy to find

                yes, shellies are much smaller. generally top out around 2 inches for the "large" species. most are under that size when mature. the mbunas would eventually kill them in my opinion. most people keep shellies in smaller species only tanks (like 10-20 gal)

                      Yes, these shellies will max out at about 1.5"-2" while the Mbuna can push 4"-5".
