Fish Land usually has lace rock or holey rock for good price. I visit them once in a while and check out the rock crop. Sometimes they have nice pieces.

maybe i was crazy and didnt even research. only one i know buffers is limestone....but river rock and buff rock i think are pretty standard. i just wanted something smooth with a little color to it. the river rock was more jagged looking and grey so it made my choice easy.
i agree with roy in that open air places are good. i think there were a few down south but were a hike for me. i think wayne's landscape supply was one and that looks like its near ADG.

Well... All my extra fish are gone and I basically stayed up all night preparing for new ones! Beth came over after the meeting to get her fry from me and we ended up talking for several hours. Then she left and instead of going to bed I stayed up to work on the tank. What do you guys think?
