I recently flipped my 56g SA tank over to my first Victorian cichlid tank. Sold my Geos, Silver Dollars, Tetras, etc. I always loved the colors Vics get when they mature. I have had malawis and tangs many times over.
These are SP35 Tomatoes. I currently have a group of 1M/6F. Needless to say he is one happy boy. As an added bonus, one of the females was holding when I got her home and stripped out 33 fry when I lost count. Will see how many make it, but they are in a net breeder right now with some plants.
Still want to add some more long pieces of thin driftwood to occupy the top of the tank since the log finally sunk. There is a little rock work in the back corner, but they seem to enjoy swimming freely right now.
