    Yellow Lab and Electric Blue Holding???????

    I have two females holding for about a week now. I have seen them roduce fry before but this was just the ones that got awya and ended up in the canister filter.

    So what do I do with them??    Do I need to pull them out and put them into another tank b y themselves??
    There is no "normal" life, it's just life so get on with it.

    Yellow labs will take about 21-25 days to spit and electric blue Ahli will take about 23-27 days as far as I recall off the top of my head.
    My Yellow labs are about day 5 and about day 14 now for me.  I am going to let them spit in my tank.  I am not tearing down the tank until I can get ready to replace the white sand.  If there are fry in the tank at that time I am going to fish them out.  The tank is getting completely torn down and the sand replaced.  This doesnt happen for another two weeks I am thinking.

      I just flattened out my 135 which is what they are in right now. Problem is that I have other fish in there and dont want them to get eaten. There have been fry in the past but only one here or there. I would like to be able to keep as many as I can alive. I am just not sure that they have the parenting skills like for example a convict where they fight off everything in the tank.

          I think after they spit they don't protect the fry. I have fry out of the wahh-hoo in my big tank. All sizes. But I also have a ton of holey rock in there and that's where they hide. I thought they would get eaten off but instead I am getting over loaded. I already gave away about 50+ fry and I think I still have about 25+ in there that are big enough to go to a new home. Not including the fry that look like little black dots zooming in and out of the rock.  And right now I have 3 females holding.
          A house without a puffer is not a Home.
