need some medium cichlid

I just got a 55 galons tank from my friend....the tank has some cichlid already but i want some more to make my tank look better. If you have some cichlid that are for sale, please help......could you attach pictures of your fish? thanks..

What kind are you looking for?  They should be compatible with with ones you already have.  What kind came with the tank?

Also, what is medium?  2 inches?

Yes, I have a few south american sicklids that I can spare.   They are about 3" with black vertical stripes.
They get along well with most other fish and given the right conditions will spawn profusely.
How does $ 0.05 each sound ?

Wel, i have :
one 3inches yellow lab,
one 7inches electric blue,
one 7inches mixed white lab
two 2.5inches peacock
two 9inches frontosa
two 2.5inches frontosa
two 2.5inches flowerhorn
two 3inches red parrot
three 2.5inches loaches
Thats all the fish in my tank now, i dont know what kind of cichlid i can put more in my tank? and what kind of fish do you recommend and what do you have?

I think the tank is over populated already.  

Frontosa and Flower Horns get up to 12+ inches and somewhat aggressive the bigger they get.  You will need a bigger tank just for the fish you have now IMO.  You have over 55 inches worth of fish right now.

I agree with Raul 100%. That tank is already over crowded.

I am going to have to agree with Rocket (Raul) and say that you are already overcrowding your tank as it is.

Here is what I would do if I was looking at your setup.
Option 1.  Get a second tank to house some of the bigger fish.
Option 2.  Cut down some of the fish I have and replace them with others that I already have.

Here are some of the options.. and these I am making, make sense because they will work together in the tank you have and not for any other reason.

Option 1.  Get a second tank around 75-100g (another 4ft minimum)

• In 75-100g tank put your Frontosas, Flowerhorns, red parrots and Loaches into them (you will later need to split the fronts from the flowerhorns and red parrots if you want them to breed
• in exiting 55 leave your yellow labs Electric blue and peacock in.

Option 2.

• Have a total of 6 yellow labs, 5 (consisting of 2m/3f electric Blue), and on your peacocks 1m/3-4f or an all male setup depending on what you have already done.  +the loaches ** The rest will needed to be sold / traded
  or
• Trade all fish but your Fronts and loaches... keep what you have no other changes
  or
• Trade all fish but your Flowerhorns, red parrots and loaches... keep what you have no other changes

If you have noticed I am splitting up the fish in their natural major locale so they will not kill each other off as they age.  The four first fish are malawi, the fronts are Tanganyikans and Flowerhorn/red parrots are mainly South American fish.  The Loaches depending on where they are from can be from several different regions and will work in any of the tanks.

Thanks for your advice.....i love fish but i spent all of money i have for this tank....i may buy another tank later ( maybe bigger than the current one). i plan to use one tank for a community of frontosas  and another tank(bigger one) for cichlids. i live in apartment now, so it's a little bit hard for changing water, cleaning process and stuff. im looking to see how well i can take care of this tank and the next one may come soon....These are some pictures i just shot at my tank.......look at pictures and tell me what do you think about my tank???[video width=400 height=350:ab1dd77923]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jZ90xa3ezIU[/video:ab1dd77923]

I like the background music as I am watching the pictures!  It doesn't' seem like your tank is that crowded now, but as mentioned earlier, some of those fish will get pretty big.  Enjoy what you have and be aware that you may have to "weed out" some fish at a later date.

The pictures look nice. I couldn't tell... were those real or fake sword plants in there?
