What happened to "not white sand like pool filter sand" and "no holey rock" because my 150 has that too

okie back to what I was saying.. I like the landscape :)  Looks good :)

Are you keeping cyps with Shell dwellers ?

            Re: Cyprichromis Leptosoma Blue Orchid!

I would make my own shrimp mix..... the one I have been using that works out really well for plumping...

            Raw shrimp....min. shells
            few cloves of garlic
            Spirulina
            Mysis
            cyclopeeze
            Squid
            salmon
            NewLifeSpectrum
            banana
            AminoAcids

blend and spread over some eggcrate....freeze and now you have small cubes to feed.

Tank looks good.  Would like to see a full tank shot.

EK  that is a great idea for making your own cubed food using egg crate.   I am going to have to try this now.

                Re: Cyprichromis Leptosoma Blue Orchid!

Thanks Ek, sounds like a plan. The scape for the tank still is temporary. I have a 75 gallon that is currently cycling at my girlfriend's apartment and I had these few extra pieces of holey rock to put in there before I move all the fish over to her place. The sand is not pool filter sand, it's CaribSea Aragamax. I still need to go pick up the new rocks. I'll keep you guys posted.

turns out that these are mbita's since they're all coloring up like this:

apparently there was an error on the shipping list...it's cool though, these are nice too  :)

I've used the CaribSea Aragamax Select for the last 3 1/2 yrs in my moba tank and I really like it.  Nice fish!!!!
