hey I may need some algae control in this tank. any suggestion on suckers that wont eat the egg or fry anyone?

Let the algae grow! It looks so much cooler with hair algae growing off the shells and stuff!

i was thinking about ottos too, but nerite sounds like a winner right now cause I can pick it up whenever I want to and place it on another tank

so I somewhat tore the tank down, Can't stand the play sand anymore. made the tank look like dirt  with the algae growth.
the free swimming frys are still in it and moved to adult multis to my Calvus tank.

what to do with this one now ... hmmm ????

I hate play sand and I have never used it.....MJ put that crap in his tank even when I suggested for him to not.....He went through the same ordeal of removing it too.

Try getting the seachem calcite.....it's a nice gray/black substrate and it will help buffer the water at the same time!

yeah, I hate play sand too, because you never know what's in it. I remember when I worked for ADG last summer, right before Mike got his first batch of cherry spots, he put this stuff in the 76 half-circle tank. Long story short, he didn't rinse it well enough and the tank was cloudy, ended up losing the first batch of them.  :?

those guys are pretty cool... after doing a little research, they might be a cool fish for a work tank if I ever decide I want to go bigger then 3 gallons at work...
