After having looked at several tanks with different kinds of sand and choosing play first I have since then changed completely to Carib Sea Eco Complete African Cichlid Sand or Leslie's Pool Filter Sand. So far its the only two kinds of sand that has worked for me. I am VERY happy with these two products.
Both do not need to be cleaned when put in tanks, both are heavy so they will not lift much when disturbed and it will return to the bottom as soon as it has.
Tim -- Armthehomeless is who turned me to Leslie's Pool Filter sand and I still cannot thank him enough. It has been the best stuff for the money for sure.
