My crypts, java fern, annubias, and hygro are growing fine in a sand substrate with no CO2. The only thing I do is add a little excel every few day just to give them a little somethingComment

The Hygro are the tall plants at the rear they have grown more bushy lately since this pic. The ferns are attached to the driftwood on the left. The annubias is attached on the right and the crypts are in the centerComment

This tank is now permanently a S.A. Discus/Pleco tank with some light plantings.
