Sold the 75, moved all inhabitants to the 90 a couple of weeks ago.

Anyway, a few updated pics...no new rocks yet. 3 males colored up within the past few days, and 2 of them were shaking with females yesterday!  :P









Woke up a few days ago to find all these little pits the xenos dug overnight, thought I'd share.









I plan on moving these to the 150 by the end of the year...amongst other new things!

I love pool filter sand... it light, works well and does not cost $20 per 30 lbs either....

IMO.... PFS is decent grain size but I have noticed that it will compact easier then aragonite and build anerobic gas pockets if not tended to. Also there is zero buffering properties.

I've never paid $20/bag for CaribSea sand

I have never paid anywhere near $20 for Caribsea or the Eco-Complete cichlid substrate.... I don't think I even paid that much for the Indo-Pacific sand for reef tanks and that's like $30 for 20lbs online.
