I know, I been reading about them being extinct.  I was so scared to get them! But I saw the WC parents and they look like ilangis.

              EK,

Let me know when you have f1s for sale.  I want to add a different blood line to the colony.

They look like illangi's. I remember a few months back  when mine were that small. They are around 4 inches now. Not too much color on them from the top yet, but will have to wait about a month til i move them to bigger tank.

I don't think you have anything to worry about.  You still the only one in Houston with a strong WC breeding colony.  Anyone else that has them just has a few (I'm assuming of course).

I hope some how me saying will get me a discount when it comes time to buy some.

how long is the waiting list now?

I push 30+ on anyone who inquires about my fry and usually give them discounts at that quantity just to make it worth while for them to get that many......IMHO, anything less is not enough.

With that being said I am about 6 people behind on the list.

that funny. I will be on your tail next year when mine are old enough to get some action. I need to get some more illangi's to get different genes in the mix.
