+1 for Mpimbwes. They've always been my favorite...they just have this beautiful iridescent blueish-purplish hue throughout their whole body. Shoulda kept my colony... :?

mobas are most sought after IMO, but I agree with J.  I like mpimbwes too.  The baby blue iridescent and they're more out going personality made me vote for them.

I like rare fish...that's one of the reasons I've kept mobas for almost 4 yrs now. They have a beautiful blue coloring and mine have long trailers. They are difficult to breed, but I have had a lot of success (Ihave 45 fry in 2 floating nurseries). I've kept a variety of fronts since 1988 and the mobas have been my favorites. There is a new even rarer front variety--the Mikula that is appearing in the US.

the trailers on my blue Zambians are growing longer every week, my alpha male is closing in on 8". Seems to be some aggression with some nipping going on, Quoc maybe you can come thump them for me
