    Is this demasoni holding?

    Hello all,

    This fish has not been eating or opening her mouth. I'm new to cichlids so I've don't know how it looks when it holding. Please tell me if you think it's holding.

    If you know its a female
    Here are the things you can look for.  Is she chewing (looks like she is chewing on something but never spits anything out)
    Will she come out looking for food when feeding but then half way there turn around and return to her cave ?

      have you noticed any white feces or gasping?  these could also indicate bloat or some sickness.
      I love my Fahaka "Peter" puffer.

          From the pictures alone I would say no its not holding.
