So I am tired of growing algae and throwing in the towel on planted aquariums and going a different direction with my ADA 90P. I am going back to cichlids which are hardier fish and not near as much maintenance. This tank will house a school of about 15 Demasoni's with a few labs thrown in the mix. Also will have some synodontis petricola as a cleanup crew. This is supposed to be a biotope of lake Malawi and Tanganyika. I got the idea from delock's tropheus tank with the white and gray river stones. All opinions or suggestions welcome. Sorry for the camera phone pic but my other camera is broken!

Re: Critique my Lake Malawi aquascape.......
I thought about Tanganyikan but I just love the colors or Demasoni's and the labs should add a bit of contrast. As for the open top I don't think it should be an issue except at feeding time I hope. Demasoni's usually hover around the bottom near the rocks and I dont think they are much of a jumper but I could be wrong.
