No, no-one her ever names their fish, infact we never keep fish for more than a week or so, so that we do not get attached to them, thats why we have auctions so that unsuspecting newbs wave their bidder cards & will take our unwanted children, Then there is no reason to flush them down the drain!!!!

LOL -- fish mate with whomever they wish to mate with in nature.   Its an issue when you do it generations down then there could be an issue with a few of their young but I doubt it.
