here's a few ways I had my old 40 breeder was set up when I used slate...





the chimba's loved it!

those chimba's are loving Fishlady's set up now......and some are spitting big time now....... :)

Jesper.... go with something similar to J's but in front of the overflow looks for narrow pieces and ride along the left glass pane and into the back glass with the stacks.

That should cover up the overflow or work it into the scape so it doesn't draw the eyes and then leave the front -->right front open for your shellbed.

After a week my cyps have at last colored up and started to use the open water above... it looks so cool :)
Now its time to rescape in a week or two and make them all go to the bottom again for a week or two :)

Man my males are starting to look good now :)  They love the open space to move in... and they are shaking like crazy at the girls
