When I get my tank setup (ie my dream 180/215) here in a few weeks and I add Tropheus to mine, I am going to go the same route as EK with lighting. IE A TON OF LIGHT -- and the algae will explode.. I have a 110 right now that if I put 100% of the light on I have a disaster in algae growth and the pleco's can barely keep up and they are the ones who leave the biggest poo in the tank..

SO in short... lots of wattage and you will get algae growth that your trophs and petro's will nibble on all day long :)

Well... nothing special special but I do have 3x150w MH + 4x96w PC's over the tank.
