Fish Gallery has them right now, according to Facebook. Not sure of the price. Can one be safely kept in a planted tank with cories and larger African Butterfly Catfish?PLECOS SUCK!

I would say no to catfish. Axo's will eat anything that fits in their mouths. They would probably try to eat cories, and with the whole spiny fins, might end up killing both.75 planted (Being Renovated)

I bought an "axolotl" a while back. He was missing some of the frillys on his gills and he had some odd skin spots, that upon closer inspection were unhealthy. I nursed him back to health and now, he's a gorgeous western tiger salamander.College = fishless for now. Vicarious living!

I'm also trying to find a place to buy one of these at locally... My sister wants one of the leucistic ones to keep in her Dorm room so I figured I would get her one as a birthday gift since she's turning 19 next month... anyone know of any places that have these in stock around Conroe? And if not does anyone know of an online seller I can buy from? (Not the website the orginal poster posted because $70 dollars shipping would make even the cheapest one cost $100 shipped)
