This page gives mention of fin nipping among slower moving species (angels or some gouramis) during feeding time due to the hyper activeness of the fish.
Planning on adding the Yoyo Loach to make your aquarium livelier? Read everything you need to know about them in this article - from feeding to breeding.
I, however, have no personal experience with said fish.

my clowns do the same. I have sand and they make little mountains and ditches. I think it's cute. No fin nipping from them though, just the yoyo's I think. (:
Ramius...your link was VERY helpful. The sacrifice of your other cool page is greatly appreciated.
My fishies (and their fins) thank you kindly. (:
Kind Regards.

The Yoyo are too active in my tank and they bother my angel fishes. Even if they don't do any damages to them I think they stress them out.
But they will do well with active fishes and also if you have a snail problem they will take care of it.....
